Serum biochemistry of broiler chickens fed different levels of pawpaw leaf meal (PLM) in the diet

Ninety six 21 day- old unsexed broiler chickens were used for the study designed to evaluate effect of different levels pawpaw leaf meal on serum biochemistry chickens. The experiment consisted four treatment groups, each in three replicates eight birds per replicate. treatments reflect inclusion meal: T1 (control 0 g/kg PLM feed), T2 (3 T3 (5 feed) and T4 (7 feed). was framed a completely randomized design lasted from beginning fourth week till end (five weeks). Results showed that alanine amino transferase globulin significantly affected by (p<0.05), though values still within normal range reported literature best physiological functions Pawpaw diet did not affect other biochemical indices studied. It concluded immune vigilance appeared compromised up 7 level.
